Marc Márquez was born in Cervera, a city near to Lleida and one hour away from Barcelona. He rode a motorcycle for the first time when he was 4, and since he was a child his passion for motorcycles was more than evident. He started his career with an enduro motorcycle and in 2001 he already achieved an award in Catalonia. This fact motivates him to the future. He tested different kinds of motorcycles, always with the velocity as the focus on his life, until 2005 when he run for the first time in 125cc, being the Catalonia runner-up. Since then, Marc has beat all records becoming the youngest pilot to win more than 50 podiums and to have a spectacular trajectory on the Motorcycle World Championship, winning 3 World Champions with just 21 years old. 2013 was his stellar year running for the first time on the most important motorcycle category, Moto GP, and winning the World Championship against the best riders of the world.
