The Midnight Hell Run
Montrail and Buff are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the Midnight Hell Run to be held on the 14th March 2009.

Situated between the Karoo towns of Oudtshoorn and Price Albert, Die Hel developed into a small Afrikaans farming community in the early 1800’s after a farmer reportedly “discovered” the valley while searching for lost cattle. Early inhabitants lived in comparative isolation for almost 130-years. The event offers the following race distances: 38km, 50km or 80km RUN and To Hell and Back CYCLE & RUN (57km MTB + 50km run).

This event is the brainchild of Jean Paul van Belle and essentially requires runners to be self sufficient. There are three official support stations. Support crew can see their runner at these three points only.

1. 12km on the 50/80km (start of the 38km) - water and coke provided
2. 50km on the 80km (end of 38km and 50km) - pancakes and hot chocolate
3. 71km on the 80km - water and coke
